The design on the label reminds of an hourglass; time passes in a continuous flow, moment by moment. It is a slow, silent process that lets our grapes become this precious and important nectar. Its aromas and intensity speak to our senses. The label describes this story: the land of our vineyards, the grapes, the sun that touches the grapes and ripens them, the texture of the oak wood, the time symbolized by the hourglass through which all this turns into the precious liquid in the bottle. The sound of the name itself refers to the idea of the passing of time, the word archè with its meaning of “origin”, “beginning” in ancient Greek, associated with ancient, archaic, primordial times. Thus in 2001 Arcante was born, a modern interpretation of Super Tuscan.
